Description
Personal protective equipment (PPE) has become standard practice in both health and public settings and face masks are considered normal. But using PPE during an infectious disease outbreak is an essential part of basic infection prevention and control (IPC).

This module will review what to wear in a specific situation, how to put it on, and how to remove PPE, to ensure work places and those who work there are kept safe.

Topics covered:
• An overview of PPE
• Zones of control

Each course takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and learners are issued with a certificate on completion.
